Aren't you isolating your children?
What about socialization?
How will they learn the social skills they need in life?
There is a myth that children who spend large quantities of time with other children
will glean "positive" socialization.  The truth is that children don't need to be around
other children to learn proper behavior and social skills -- that comes from Mom and
Dad.  We want to instill godly morals and values in our children with consistent
reinforcement and encouragement without being undermined by outside influences.
Our children are very social and polite.  And they enjoy being around other people
(both adults and children) that treat them with the same amount of respect.  And
homeschooled children have so many opportunities for interaction with others.  For
example, our children take art classes, music classes, participate in library programs,
and enjoy get togethers with family and friends.  Bottom line...most homeschooled
children have very refined social skills and are a joy to interact with.
Here are some links to articles on the this issue.  These are all good reads and will
hopefully help you feel more comfortable when that dreaded
Socialization
question is asked of you.
